I was in a building and there was a shooter. I was in the bathroom and knew I’d be ok. I took some woman’s phone and called or texted her therapist bc I knew they’d help. I’m not sure how or why I wasn’t killed. When I left the bathroom there were a bunch of people around, but no lying corpses. I was in another bathroom again, trying to pee this time but the toilet seat was too small and kept falling in. My grandpa came in, making me want to finish quicker. He asked me about an equation and said he figured it out when he was younger. He recognized differences between the 1930s and 40s, but didn’t feel like he could speak up without being harmed. I left my stall, after picking up the small toilet seat from the floor. Another woman came in but she couldn’t use the small toilet seat either. She commented how everyone was dressed up.
This dream can be interpreted in several ways, but the overall themes seem to revolve around feelings of safety, seeking support, struggles with vulnerability, and a sense of being stifled or constrained.
The presence of a shooter in the first part of the dream indicates a sense of danger or threat in your life. However, the fact that you felt safe in the bathroom may suggest a feeling of security or a belief that you have the resources or support necessary to overcome difficult situations.
Taking someone else's phone and contacting their therapist signifies a desire for help or guidance from professionals or those with expertise. This suggests that you value seeking support when faced with challenges.
Being unharmed and seeing no corpses when you left the bathroom could represent your belief in your own resilience and ability to navigate through difficult situations without being overwhelmed or affected negatively.
The second part of the dream, in which you struggle to use a small toilet seat, may symbolize feelings of discomfort or frustration in expressing yourself or dealing with personal matters. This could indicate a hesitancy or difficulty in openly addressing certain emotions or concerns.
The presence of your grandpa in the bathroom can represent a connection to wisdom and experience. His comment about an equation suggests the need to find solutions or make sense of things, possibly related to your personal history or family dynamics. His statement about feeling unable to speak up without being harmed may suggest a fear of reprisal or a fear of standing out or sharing your beliefs or opinions openly.
The other woman's comment about everyone being dressed up may convey a sense of superficiality or the need for appearances in your surroundings. This might reflect a desire for authenticity or a struggle with feeling like you have to conform to societal expectations.
Overall, this dream suggests that you have a strong instinct for seeking support and a belief in your own ability to overcome challenges. However, it also indicates some internal struggles with vulnerability and self-expression, as well as the need to address personal history or family dynamics.
